Ideal for preparing and serving individual portions of food such as pies, lasagnes, pasta bakes etc. The operating temperatures of the dish are -40°C to +220°C and with its excellent resistance to sudden extremes of temperature, O2T is also suitable for blast freezing/chilling. These properties mean that you can use it for cooking, microwaving, steaming, serving and freezing. Please note that this individual oven dish is not suitable for induction hob cooking and to be applied to direct heat, such as gas flames, oven rings, etc. Our O2T (Oven to Tableware) range is made from a high performance plastic, which has EU and FDA approval for food contact. O2T offers easy handling with its lighter weight and resistance to chipping comparing to dishes made from other materials. Dishes are safe to touch within minutes for safer as well as speedier service. These gastronorm lids are very durable, but as they are not polycarbonate, they are not unbreakable. The dishes are dishwasher and steriliser safe. They are very easy to clean as well due to their naturally non-stick qualities. Laboratory tests have seen a 10% potential energy saving with shorter cooking times and lower temperatures using our Oven2Tableware.
