Kopa Robata Japanese Style Barbecue Grill with Multi-Level Charcoal Grill. The Kopa R120S is a large mobile charcoal grill with 1130x350mm grill. The mobile stand with castors features additional shelving and storage space, making it ideal for use within a kitchen, on a terrace or outside cooking space. The upper grill area has 4 levels with a 1240x240mm cooking area and there are options for additional side tables for preparation and ingredient storage.
A long-standing Japanese grilling tradition, the origins of the Robata go back to ancient fishermen in northern Japan who took boxes of hot coals with them to grill fish they caught. The modern Kopa Robata Charcoal Grill is modelled after those coal boxes and the R120S is highly popular in Japanese and Asian kitchens for front-of-house grilling and barbecuing of food.
The Kopa Robata Grill & Mobile Stand are built like a tank to survive daily abuse and professional use. It is very well insulated to prevent overheating of the external surfaces. The fire pit features chamotte fire bricks for heat accumulation and long life. If they ever burn out, they are easy to change without the need of a professional.
Please note: Grill rack is half-width, allowing for the skewers to be used. If you do not wish to use skewers, an additional grill racks can be purchased separately to create a full BBQ top.
