The Polar U-Series fridge freezer is a great choice for commercial kitchens with limited room. Combining the flexibility to store both chilled and frozen ingredients, the Polar lets you store all your refrigerated foods in one place, reducing floor space requirements and combining everything into a single 13A electric plug connection.
The fridge section offers a generous 165 litres of capacity over two adjustable shelves and one base level. Not only can you put items directly on the shelves, the section also allows you to position full size (1/1) gastronorm pans straight into the adjustable shelf runner - great for saving time when transferring pans of food between stations.
The freezer compartment has an equally-impressive 153 litre capacity, again with two main shelves and a floor protector. And as the freezer section is gastronorm compatible too, you can quickly move the pans between sections, all without changing containers.
Cooling on both sections is via powerful forced air cooling. This ensures that temperatures are kept down, even when the doors are being opened frequently. And thanks to the high performance cooling, the Polar can reliably keep temperatures down, even when ambient temperatures reach as high as 40°C.
